Indications

• Chemotherapy-Induced Nausea: Prevention of nausea and vomiting in pediatric and adult patients receiving emetogenic chemotherapy.

• Postoperative Nausea and Vomiting (PONV): Prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting following surgical procedures.

How It Works

Ondansetron is a selective 5-HT₃ receptor antagonist. It works by blocking the action of serotonin, a natural chemical in the body that triggers the vomiting reflex.
